南柳村是湛江市霞山区建设街道辖下的村，村民1954年因国家修建铁路而从湛江火车南站一带迁来，2010年起归建设街道[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
《湛江市地名志》（1989年10月版）载：吴姓先祖在宋代庆元年间（1195—1200年）自福建莆田迁来，住在现湛江火车南站一带[1]。1954年国家修铁路，那里的居民迁到现址，新村取名南柳村[1]。
1999年设南柳村民委员会；2010年，该委员会由海头街道转入建设街道[1]。
荣誉[edit]
南柳村2019年9月列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」，2024年1月又被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」，2026年1月评上广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村[1]。
