坎坡村是湛江市霞山区建设街道辖下的村，村中先民在明末由南柳中村迁来[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
据载，崇祯年间（明末）有人从南柳中村迁到这里建了村[1]。1949年以前这里有坎坡、泉水、下圩仔三条小村，后来并成一个坎坡村[1]。
村里早先归霞山农副业大队管，1984年改为坎坡管理区，1999年又改称村委会[1]。2002年，坎坡村委会离开工农街道，转归建设街道[1]。
2022年9月，坎坡村获「2022年湛江市文明村」称号[1]。
