南星村是广东省江门市鹤山市鹤城镇的行政村，村委会所在地在镇中部，东邻南中村，南连共和镇里元村，北与桃源镇甘棠村交界[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

这一带清代归附城都管辖，民国时划入三区；1957年纳入鹤城乡，1958年随红旗人民公社设南星大队；1983年鹤山县设鹤城区公所，改称南星乡；1986年起隶鹤城镇，名为南星管理区；至1998年，改建为村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。

地理环境[edit]

村名来自村中曾经种植的草本植物南星[1]。全村土地约15959亩，分为林地11625亩、水田2085亩、茶地246亩等；半旱地687亩，另有杂项用地1316亩[1]。镇国土空间规划提出推进南星村古锥林的保护利用[2]。

人口民族[edit]

全村有14条自然村、22个村小组，人口2670多人（博雅地名网所述，未注明年份）[1]。

经济[edit]

村里的花生加工业形成规模，“南星花生”在附近有名气，旧325国道南星茅坪一段被称作“花生街”[1]。2026年3月，南星村被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[1]。
