历史沿革[edit]
早先村民委员会设在蒲冈村，名称沿用至今[1]。
清代隶属开平县长静都，民国年间划入第二区马冈乡。新中国成立后归第十一区蒲冈乡，1963年属马冈公社，称蒲冈大队。1984年起，村级建制由大队改为乡，1989年又改设管理区；1993年开平撤县设市，划归马冈镇管辖，1999年改设村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。

村委会管辖区的人口为3601人（1022户），其中劳动力约1865人[1][2]。
经济[edit]
村集体2009年的收入为5.82万元，农民人均年收入为3180元[1]。
文化[edit]
2026年3月，蒲冈村被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[1]。
