芙冈村是开平市沙塘镇东部的行政村，在桥路收费站前一公里的大路旁，离镇政府不到3公里，下设7个村民小组，人口1261人、328户。[1]

地名由来[edit]

「芙冈」是原名葫芦冈的简称，村建在名叫葫芦冈的地方。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代在开平县平康都的范围内，到民国时期归第一区五美乡，1949年后归第十区芙芦冈乡。1961年编入苍城公社，名芙冈大队，翌年改隶沙塘公社。[1]

1984年设芙冈乡；1992年起隶属沙塘镇，名芙冈管理区；1999年定为芙冈村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

2009年村集体纯收入16.2万元，主要来自出租土地、楼房和鱼塘；农民人均收入6919元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年3月，芙冈村认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。村里近年清拆80余间老旧危房，整治后山近万平方米竹林，环村路600多米和村内横向道路400多米已改为硬底化路面，并翻新卫生服务站。[1][2]
