下丽村是开平市沙塘镇的行政村，距镇政府约3公里，下设4个村民小组，627人、193户，耕地617.5亩，是全镇人口和面积最小的村委会。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村在丽洞一带的下游，故称下丽；村委会设在下丽村，因此名为下丽村民委员会。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代在开平县平康都的范围内，到民国时期归第一区五美乡，1949年后归第十区塘浪乡。1961年编入苍城公社，名下丽大队，翌年改隶沙塘公社。[1]

1984年设下丽乡；1992年起隶属沙塘镇，名下丽管理区；1999年定为下丽村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村里利用人均耕地较多的条件开发鱼塘、竹园，集体收入在镇内居中上。2009年集体收入20.8万元，农民人均年收入7851元。[1]

近年村里把废弃的学校改作展览企业用房，带动40多名村民在本地就业，并将零散的鱼塘、山地打包统一发包；还完成800米环村路硬底化、重建两座桥梁、翻修文体广场。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

下丽村有知青楼，在镇的介绍中被称为广东省保存较完整的知青楼之一，是镇里党建观摩路线上的一站。村里打算把知青楼改成研学实践基地，把旧粮仓建成农具展览馆。[3][2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，下丽村获广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予2022年广东省卫生村称号；2026年1月评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1] 村里还与市法院共建全市首个乡村「法官工作室」。[2]
