地名由来[edit]

村名寄托了村民生活安定、稳如泰山的愿望。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代在开平县平康都的范围内，到民国时期归第一区丽洞乡，1949年后为第十区丽洞乡。1961年归苍城公社，称泰山大队，次年转属沙塘公社。[1]

1984年设泰山乡；1992年起隶属沙塘镇，名泰山管理区；1999年定为泰山村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

集体收入主要来自鱼塘、山林和市场出租，2009年为19.3万元，农民人均年收入7445元。农户收入多靠外出务工，建筑装修行业较普遍。[1]

2019年9月，泰山村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
