丽新村是开平市沙塘镇东北部的行政村，村委会在镇政府东北约8公里处。据地名资料，全村分10个村民小组，1854人、485户，耕地2800亩。[1]
地名由来[edit]
新中国成立初期，几个小社合并为「三联大社」，后来与长沙一带的「三联大队」重名，通信不便。1990年代经讨论，因本村属丽洞一带，便改称丽新。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清顺治六年（1649年）属开平县平康都，到民国时期归第一区丽洞乡。1949年后归第十区丽洞乡，1961年归苍城公社，称三联大队，1962年转属沙塘公社。[1]
1984年设三联乡，1992年起隶属沙塘镇，名丽新管理区，1999年定名丽新村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村集体收入以出租鱼塘、山头和果园为主。该页载明，2009年村委会集体收入20.5万元，农民人均年收入7022元。[1]
2019年9月，丽新村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
