下洞村是广东省台山市北陡镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的中北部，南邻寨门村，北接早禾石村，离圩镇约3千米。村子西靠紫罗山，东面隔着镇海湾与汶村镇相望。[1][2]

全村面积3.8平方千米，9条自然村分为16个村民小组，镇政府2026年公布有910户、3480人。下洞是北陡镇的主要产粮和产菜区之一，还出产沙地番薯。[1][2][4]

下洞村背山面海，地处紫罗山东麓和镇海湾之间。[2] 按2026年的数字，村里有山地10938亩、咸围2300亩、红树林440亩和海滩300亩；耕地2746.8亩，其中水稻田2140.3亩。[1]

人口[edit]

快懂百科记载的自然村有蟠江、三田、大龙、木龙、黑潭、园墩、田寮、山边和黄猄澳，当时共916户、3544人，村委会设在下洞小学旁边。[2] 镇政府2026年公布的人口为910户、3480人。[1]

经济[edit]

快懂百科称下洞是北陡镇的「粮仓」和主要的蔬菜产地，农林牧渔各业都有。[2]

紫罗山脚的沙质土适合种番薯。当地种植时施用有机肥，用山泉水浇灌，品种有五个：多仔薯和栗子薯蒸熟后会自行爆开，冰淇淋薯的薯肉白紫相间，西瓜红放上半个月会变得更甜，桥头薯则是从海南引进后改良的。[4]

2022年，在驻点工作组和村委会的推动下，蟠江村变压器附近一片丢荒的40多亩田地重新种上了水稻。同年蟠江村的咸围重新发包，集体收入增加后，在村巷里装了上百盏路灯，费用3万余元由蟠江村经济合作社承担。[3]
