白水村是广东省江门市台山市台城街道西部的行政村，村委会在仁孝路163号。东面是新桥社区，西面是圆山村委会（即元山村），南面和北面分别是桂水村和河北村。[1]

全村面积3平方千米，14个村民小组，2025年12月户籍人口1786人（509户）。[1] 白水是台城谭氏的聚居地之一，台山育英中学的新校区就建在本村；新加坡华文作家尤今（原名谭幼今）祖籍本村大岭厚村，下属的鹿坑村在抗日战争时期是革命根据地。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

鹿坑村是抗日战争时期的革命根据地，1989年被划定为革命老区。[1]

2016年，白水村委会获评台山市农村集体「三资」管理示范单位；2022年被列入台山市首批「无毒村居」。永和、八家两村在2018年获评江门卫生村，永和村次年又获评广东卫生村。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

谭氏是台城城北的大姓，主要聚居在河北、白水和圆山一带，旅居海外的谭氏宗亲组织中就有「谭氏白水公所」和香港白水谭氏同乡会。[2]

文化[edit]

台山育英中学由谭氏创办，前身是1907年在台城龙藏里开办的台山城谭氏学校；1935年谭氏海内外宗亲集资扩建，改名私立谭氏育英初级中学。学校在1952年至1984年间停办，1984年秋由旅港、旅美宗亲及纽约昭伦公所、香港白水谭氏同乡会等筹款二十万港元复校，定名台山育英中学。[2]

2006年9月，育英中学的新校区在白水村委会游鱼村八家洞启用，占地五万多平方米，建筑面积一万七千多平方米，总投资近3000万元，可容纳学生两千五百多人。[2][1] 村里还有白水小学。[1]

经济[edit]

村里以农业为主，种植水稻和甘蔗，山地种桉树和松树，也有水面养殖；村集体的经营性收入主要来自发包土地、山林和鱼塘。[1]

地理环境[edit]

240国道和新、旧两条仁孝路经过白水村，往来台城与开平的公共汽车也途经这里。[1] 村里有卫生站、农贸市场、图书阅览室各一处，休闲公园7个，公厕12间，道路和自来水都已通到各村。[1]

著名人物[edit]

  • 尤今：原名谭幼今，祖籍大岭厚村，1950年10月10日生于马来亚怡保，新加坡华文作家，写有游记、散文和小说，出版的书籍据2015年的报道有136部以上，台城街道办事处的资料则称两百余部；1991年获新加坡首届「新华文学奖」，后来又获「新加坡文化奖」；1995年3月曾回白水故居寻根。[2][1]
  • 谭浩强：1934年生，祖籍台城白水乡，清华大学教授，从事计算机基础教育，参与编著和主编的书籍总发行量超过4400万册。[2]
