双水村是双水镇的行政村，与双水圩相邻，属镇乡结合区。[1] 村名取自村旁的泷水河。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传明永乐年间，张姓先祖从本镇的豪山迁来，最先在这里立村。[1] 民国时期到1958年属双水乡，此后先并入木江管理区，1959年底单设双水大队；改革开放后在「乡」「管理区」「村委会」几种名称之间数次更替，1999年起定名双水村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村内分14个村民小组，土地总面积3.5平方千米，有1152户、3310人，耕地2250亩，其中水稻1600亩。[1] 资料记2008年人均收入7242元，村集体收入34万元，主要来自商铺出租（28万元）和土地出租（6万元）。[1] 村党支部有党员100人。[1] 双水村在2019年9月被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
