东升村是德庆县马圩镇的行政村，在镇的西北部，距圩镇7公里、距县城26公里，总面积17平方公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名来自1958年设立的东升大队，寓意村民像红日一样从东方升起。建国前村地属德庆县金林乡，建国初年归第一区大安乡。1958年，红旗人民公社下有东升生产大队；1961年改隶马圩人民公社，称大立庙生产大队；1968年恢复东升大队之名；其后1983年立东升乡，1986年称管理区，1998年以后为东升村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
全村1216人、312户，7个村民小组，耕地869亩、林地15000亩。贡柑和沙糖桔种植1710多亩。村集体年收入约8万元；2009年，村民人均纯收入7415元。2019年9月被列为「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」；2026年1月被评为「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
