新旗村是佛山市三水区乐平镇下辖的行政村，村内的大旗头村是首批中国历史文化名村和中国传统村落。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村委会名取“新村”的“新”和“大旗头村”的“旗”两字。[1]新旗乡农民协会成立于1951年，两年后改设乡人民政府；1960年改为新旗大队，隶属乐平公社；1984年恢复为乡；1987年成立新旗村民委员会，1989年改称新旗管理区，1997年再设村民委员会。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

大旗头村在新旗村辖内，清代古建筑群保存完整，见大旗头村。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，新旗村被确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2022年8月被确定为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」；2023年11月入选「广东百千万工程首批典型县镇村」；2024年4月入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
