宏岗村是里水镇下辖的行政村，村中有三道岗峦并排横列，村名由此而来[1]。
明万历年间（1573至1619年），张、吴、李等姓人家迁来定居[2]。2023年1月，司法部和民政部命名宏岗村为「第九批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
1950年曾与赤山合组赤岗乡；1961年两村分开，宏岗另组大队；1989年叫宏岗管理区，十年后管理区改制为行政村，名宏岗村委会[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月，宏岗村进入「2020年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2024年8月列入佛山市「百千万工程」第二批典型镇村；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」；2020至2022年连续三年列入淘宝村名单[2]。
