和顺社区在里水镇北部，面积2.56平方千米，含和顺村、山脚村、梁洲村3个自然村，设7个村民小组[1]。

和顺原是独立的镇，2005年撤销后并入里水镇；社区原名和锋，因“锋”字被认为有碍邻里和睦，改名和顺[2]。

名称与沿革[edit]

和顺之名取“和气、顺利”之意[2]。明清时属南海县金利司的下白石堡；1928年属第二区卫安乡；1959年8月至1968年初，是和顺公社的和顺大队（与共同大队分开）；1984年为和顺区和顺乡[1]。

经济与荣誉[edit]

村简介称，耕地1260亩，鱼塘960亩，另有花卉地515亩；村民（本地）3318人，外地来的1485人。2002年投资120万元整治村容环境，创建广东省卫生村；2007年获「佛山市A级广东省卫生村」称号；当年经济总收入2.433亿元，工业总产值1.5077亿元[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

社区一带有泗源郑公祠、蔡道可蔡子华墓和文头岭窑址。蔡道可、蔡子华墓在文头岭，是南宋古墓，墓主蔡子华做过理刑官，与其父蔡道可同葬，现存墓表构件多是清代以后所建；文头岭窑址是1958年勘探煤矿时发现的，现存遗址约2万平方米，主要烧釉下彩绘瓷器，兼烧青瓷和酱釉瓷，曾是原南海市文物保护单位[3]。
