历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前，平胜由南海、顺德两县分管，界线是生龙村的河涌：南岸的梁、杜、谭等姓从顺德迁来，称南边坊，归顺德；北岸的杜、郭、叶、黄、梁等姓从五斗、盐步一带迁来，称北边坊，归南海。1953年土改完成后，平胜乡人民政府成立。2019年9月，社区列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
