翠颐社区位于佛山市南海区桂城街道办事处西面，居委会于2008年8月成立，辖区约1.2平方千米，四至为简平路、桂平西路、宝翠南路和桂澜路、佛平路和夏平西路。[1][2] 名称各取辖区内怡翠花园的「翠」与颐景园的「颐」。[1]

辖区内有怡翠花园、颐景园等小区，约5000多户、15000多人居住，其中户籍人口5416人（年份未注明）。[2] 社区获评「国家综合减灾示范社区」和广东省宜居社区；2019年9月列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1][2]
