城西村是南澳县后宅镇的行政村，因位于县城西部得名，是以海洋捕捞和近海滩涂养殖为业的渔业村[1][3]。据博雅地名网，全村人口2000多人，60岁以上的有500多人，有机动渔船48艘[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

城西为渔民协会的第四分会（1950年3月），其后称渔业第四生产大队；1959年入后宅公社，1969年渔、农合并，1982年称第四管理区。1984年属后宅镇；1986年12月起为城西村委会，1998年起为城西村民委员会[2]。

经济与党建[edit]

村集体经济收入连续几年低于3万元，该页称其为纯渔业的贫困村。村党支部有党员42名[1]。2019年9月，该村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之中[1]。
