历史沿革[edit]
前埔埕是1950年3月渔民协会的第五分会，随后称渔业第五生产大队，1959年入后宅公社，1982年称第五管区；1984年属后宅镇。1986年起为前埔埕村委会，1998年改为村民委员会，沿用至今[2]。
经济[edit]
村里渔船37艘，竹排机45只，另有10户从事养殖；2009年人均收入3300元，村集体收入43000元。村委会办公点在后宅镇中心市场南侧[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，该村得到广东省爱卫会授予的「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。2019年9月，该村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之中[1]。
