西山盐村是南澳县后宅镇的行政村，位于县城西阁路，以耙盐为主，是纯盐业村。村后的山形似卧狮，旧称狮阁，因“狮”“西”谐音得名西山[1][3]。据博雅地名网，全村468人，盐田面积278.63亩，山地1588亩。
历史沿革[edit]
西山盐村先属1953年的西山乡，1959年成为南澳盐业公社的狮山盐业大队。盐业公社1968年撤销后，改归后宅公社，1984年随之属后宅镇；1985年并入南澳盐场管理，1986年设狮山盐村民委员会，1998年易名西山盐委会。2005年并入西山村委会，2017年农、盐分设，成立西山盐村民委员会[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2026年3月，西山盐村被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」；2023年5月，该村得到广东省爱卫会授予的「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。2019年9月，该村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之中[1]。
