光星村在铜盂镇西北，北港运河中段，由围仔、后溪、新寨三个自然村组成，总面积1380亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传唐贞元初（785年）先人到此建村，称洪三村；1958年改光星农业生产大队，隶铜盂公社，1984年改为乡，1986年改设村委会。[1]

村落与人口[edit]

后溪村因临溪得名，围仔村因先人在此小片聚居养鸭而得名。全村2650人（471户）（围仔1245人，后溪928人，新寨444人）；耕地563亩，有小学一所。2021年12月获「广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
