沙浦社区是汕头市金平区鮀江街道西南端的社区，辖区面积1.42平方千米，办公地在沙浦南街21号。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村址在鮀济河冲积的平原上。明初胡氏先民来此搭棚居住，因靠海湾冲积的沙地，叫作沙寮；后来吴姓等六姓陆续迁入，改称沙浦。新中国成立初期全村仅四百余人。1960至1966年设沙浦大队管理委员会，1987年改设村民委员会，1998年改为居委会，当时隶升平区的鮀浦街道；至2001年12月转入鮀江街道，2003年3月升平区、金园区合并后属金平区。[1]
