丹灶社区是佛山市南海区丹灶镇镇政府所在的社区，设8个居民小组，管辖面积3.7平方公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据当地传说，东晋的道教炼丹术士葛洪从罗浮山云游至此，登上金峰顶，觉得此处宜炼丹，又找到一眼好泉，便在这一带结灶炼丹，“丹灶”由此得名。[1]
明万历三十七年（1609），此地属南海县鼎安都丹桂堡；1928年为南海县第七区丹灶乡，1959年为丹灶（红峰）公社丹灶大队。[1]
人口[edit]
