李厝村是汕头市龙湖区外砂街道辖下的行政村，位于汕头机场东北侧，东临外砂溪，北接内陇村，西邻林厝村。[1] 村名取自1956年分村时的小姓“李”，外砂的“李厝配菜市场”即在这里。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

元末明初，村子周围已有人居住，因王姓居多，称王厝乡，民国时改称外砂上社乡。1956年该乡一分为二，分别叫李厝村、林厝村；当时为了不让大姓压小姓，就用小姓做村名。[2]

1953年划为澄海县第五区的李厝乡；1986年11月起称李厝村，1990年改作管理区，1999年3月成立村民委员会；2003年1月划入龙湖区，2019年改属外砂街道。[3]

经济[edit]

全村总面积2672亩，约2140户、10737人，分7个村民小组，村“两委”干部12人，党员约199人。[1] 种植水稻和旱地作物各千余亩，主要供应配菜蔬菜；集体收入主要靠出租工业用地与厂房，工业以家庭毛织为主。[1] 村名列入2020年、2021年、2022年的“淘宝村”名单，2019年9月，又列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
