东岸社区是珠海市香洲区唐家湾镇下辖的社区，村子在金星水道岸边、南山脚下的东北面，因处在水岸东侧得名「东岸」，村名最早见于明嘉靖《香山县志》。[1][2]社区以黄姓为大姓，村内有1933年建成的东岸绵始大楼，现辟为东岸村史馆。[1]

姓氏与迁徙[edit]

据1920年的《黄如在堂族谱》，黄氏入粤始祖名居正，宋代由福建迁到南雄珠玑巷；其六世孙黄述在元代从东莞茶园迁来，是东岸黄氏的始迁祖。[1]

文物与荣誉[edit]

东岸绵始大楼在大石街19号，由侨商黄绵始于民国二十二年（1933年）修建，2018年2月10日公布为珠海市第七批文物保护单位。[1][3]民国时期建的晚翠亭立在留思山顶，属唐家湾中山公园，县级文物保护单位。[3]2023年11月，东岸入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村。[3]
