钟屋社区是深圳市宝安区航城街道下辖的社区，位于107国道旁，与黄田、草围、三围、鹤洲等社区相邻，辖区面积约3平方千米。[1][2]

社区以姓氏得名：据说原居民大多姓钟。1992年从黄田村划出，2004年改为社区居民委员会。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，钟屋1960年起属宝安县西乡公社黄田大队，1983年属西乡区黄田乡，1986年属新安镇黄田村，1992年脱离黄田村，1993年起归宝安区。2004年农村城市化，村委会改名钟屋社区居民委员会，归航城街道。[1] 航城街道办事处的介绍则写作：1994年以前属新安镇黄田大队，之后改属西乡镇。[3]
