沙尾社区在深圳市福田区沙头街道，临深圳湾，由原沙尾村改设，辖区约0.13平方千米。改社区的时间在2002年。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传附近曾是一片绵延的大沙地，远望如龙，村在龙尾，故名沙尾。[1]明清时沙尾归宝安（新安）县；1982年前是附城公社新沙大队下的沙尾生产队，1991年成为上步管理区的沙尾村，2002年起设社区居委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

东面是新洲社区，西面到沙嘴一带的金地一路，翠湾工业区在南，沙尾路在北，福田体育公园就在附近。[1]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网称社区住有11569户，约3.23万人；常住者仅1100多，暂住者达3.1万多。[1]

文化[edit]

福田区政府的街道概况把沙尾的“点灯礼”列为沙头街道仍在传承的围村习俗。[2]2022年3月，社区获评「第一批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」。[1]
