中坪村是南雄市坪田镇的行政村，有21个村小组，408户、1807人（村情材料未注明年份）[1]。原汪汤村委会已并入该村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

关于村名：从新龙上山，去坪田的路走到一半就是此地，古时行人常在此歇脚，后来形成聚落，称为中坪[1][2]。村内最早的组织是1956年的高级社，几经改称，1998年起设村民委员会。到2004年12月，汪汤村与中坪村两个村委会合二为一，仍叫中坪村村民委员会[1]。
