历史沿革[edit]
旧时此处有古庙老龙庙，村名由此而来；邻近的老龙社区得名相同[1][2]。村的前身是1953年的初级社，后来成为大队、乡、管理区，1998年起设村民委员会[1]。
经济[edit]
耕地以水田为主，旱地约980亩[1]。广东省农业农村厅2021年9月公布第二批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村，老龙村凭杏香薯入选[1]。
荣誉[edit]
老龙村获评2021年度广东省卫生村（2021年12月由省爱卫会授予），并名列广东省2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位（2019年9月公布）[1]。
