坪湖村是南雄市坪田镇下辖的行政村，设16个村民小组，人口1864人（村情材料未注明年份）[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

关于村名，说法是原村委会驻在坪湖的中心，也是坪湖人口最集中之处，又属村民自治组织，便以坪湖作村名[1][2]。村的前身是1950年的坪湖农会，经合作社、大队、乡与管理区各阶段，到1998年改为村民委员会[1]。

地理环境[edit]

村域山林约12860亩，另有耕地1246亩[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月公布的广东省2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单中有坪湖村[1]。
