历史沿革[edit]

金鸡村的建置沿革是：1958年为金鸡大队，1983年改设金鸡乡，1987年成立金鸡村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年又恢复村委会，此后一直沿用[1]。

荣誉与近年建设[edit]

  • 2019年9月，金鸡村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]
  • 镇里在2024年为金鸡村的水库移民兴建美丽家园，项目投入800万元[2]
