深源村是乳源瑶族自治县大桥镇的行政村，也是中国传统村落，在镇域北部，与镇政府驻地相距8公里，到县城46公里。据百度百科，村子建于明成化年间（1465年），因藏在深山又有水源而得名，余氏先人从福建上杭迁来，村民自称是北宋政治家余靖的后人。[2]据博雅地名网，全村下设5个自然村，共142户、742人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科所载，村子始建于明成化年间（1465年）。村内留有传统民居42栋、清代石拱桥和明代炮楼，西京古道从村旁经过；每年举行余氏宗亲祭祀。[2]2018年10月，村中建成余靖纪念馆。[2]

行政建制上，建国之初这里是深源乡，1958年成为深源大队；深源乡政府成立于1983年，三年后改称深源村委会，1989年又叫管理区，1998年恢复村委会之名，此后未变。[1]

经济[edit]

村域面积3.6平方千米；耕地813亩，种植以水稻、玉米为主，收入主要靠外出务工，2008年村民人均年收入为3596元。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2018年12月列入「第五批中国传统村落」公示名单，次年6月获批。[2]
  • 广东省爱国卫生运动委员会于2021年12月授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
  • 在2023年4月公布的「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单中。[1]
