核桃山村是乳源瑶族自治县大桥镇的行政村，村委会驻地在镇域北部，与镇政府驻地相距10公里，到县城45公里。村下设3个自然村，共169户、843人。[1]村名的来历：村后的山上原先长着很多核桃树，因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国之初这里是核桃山乡，1958年成为核桃山大队；核桃山乡政府成立于1983年，三年后改称核桃山村委会，1989年又叫管理区，1998年恢复村委会之名，此后未变。[1]
经济[edit]
该村976亩耕地、6003亩山林，种植以反季节蔬菜、黄烟、水稻；2008年村民人均年收入为3032元。[1]
