石角塘村是乳源瑶族自治县大桥镇的行政村，村委会驻地在镇域东南部，与镇政府驻地相距5公里，到县城30公里。村下设21个自然村，共742户、4014人。[1]村名的来历：当地多山石，石尖发白，远看如山塘，因此叫石角塘。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国之初这里是石角塘乡，1958年成为石角塘大队；石角塘乡政府成立于1983年，三年后改称石角塘村委会，1989年又叫管理区，1998年恢复村委会之名，此后未变。[1]

经济[edit]

该村4995亩耕地、21000亩山林，种植以水稻、红薯、玉米，黄烟、蚕桑为补充；2008年村民人均年收入为2399元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2021年9月列入「第二批广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」（花生）。[1]
  • 2024年3月被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
  • 2026年3月被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」。[1]
