历史沿革[edit]

县城2001年分设6个社区时，这里称第三居委会；2002年4月起叫水南居委会，沿用至今。[1]

人口民族[edit]

社区有户籍居民1159户、5795人，党员64人，分仁由桥东、仁桥南、丹霞大道、金霞小区4个居民小组。国道106线从辖区中间穿过，辖区内有街道办事处、财政所、城南村委会、中心小学以及县直单位40多个。2019年9月，社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
