水南村是广东省肇庆市高要区水南镇下辖的行政村，紧邻镇区，设14个村民小组[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
1950年成立人民政府。1958年划入乐城公社，名水南大队，次年转到新设的水南公社。1983年改设水南乡，1987年为村委会，1989年为管理区；到1998年，改组成村民委员会，至今未变[1][2]。
经济[edit]
据博雅地名网转载的介绍，全村356户、近1548人，有耕地约0.7万亩、林地4700亩，主要种植玉桂、桉树和柑桔；水稻种植以小户、低产为主，近年着力发展肉桂、柑桔和油茶[1]。
