历史沿革[edit]
水南在1950年成立农会，1957年入高级社，1958年设大队。[1] 水口曾在1961年并入、1978年分出。[1] 1983年称乡，1987年称管理区，1999年建村委会；2005年江口镇划入太平镇，水口村合进水南，村名仍是水南。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年4月，水南村进入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单」。[1]
