车湾村是仁化县丹霞街道辖下的行政村，位于县城以南约8公里，处在丹霞山世界遗产地的核心区，面积约34400亩，其中山林约16000亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名取辖内两个较大村小组车头、廖湾各一字。建国后称车湾乡，1958年改称大队，1986年起为村委会，1998年撤管理区后仍用车湾村委会之名。[1]
人口民族[edit]
共581户、2046人，分12个村小组：淡庄、岭背、岭头、黄坜坵、春光、联湖、亚婆岩、月岭、下廖、上廖、石下、车头。[1]
经济[edit]
境内有两条河，一条是锦江，经车头、石下往夏富、韶关方向，另一条自董塘经月岭、黄坜坵、上廖、下廖、石下汇入锦江；解放前都是商贸通道。农村居民人均纯收入在2014年为10016元。车湾村的贡柑列入广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布的首批省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
据仁化县人民政府网站对丹霞街道的介绍，车湾村也是街道沙田柚的主要分布村之一。[2]
