明星村是广州市增城区荔湖街道辖下的行政村，占地约2.5平方千米，设13个经济合作社，总人口2100人[1]。村委会设在明星村，村名由此而来[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村由两片合成：第一片有天合、田由、椅山，第二片有天和、古屋、横岭、潘屋、土塱[1]。土改时（1952年）立明星小乡，合作化时（1956年）两片并成明星农业社，公社化时称明星大队。1983年11月恢复为乡，1987年1月起设村委会，沿用至今[1]。

经济[edit]

耕地约1100亩，旱地约450亩，均种植荔枝、龙眼等果树；村里推进新农村建设，已建成一条新农村街巷，共72户[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月获广东省卫生村称号；2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村[1]。
