历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期这里是县一区清燕乡的一村，到1953年改称五联一村；办高级社（1957年）时叫五一社，成立人民公社（1958年）后称五一大队。1983年11月改为乡，1987年1月起设五一村民委员会，名称沿用至今[1]。
经济[edit]
耕地分水田（约1300亩）和旱地（约400亩），另有山地约1000亩；约50户外出经商，另有约200人在增城本地做工[1]。
荣誉[edit]
广东省爱卫会2023年5月授予五一村2022年度广东省卫生村称号[1]。
