银林村在行政区划上属从化区太平镇，是该镇的一个行政村，村委会设在镇域北部。[1] 全村面积约7平方千米，下设20个经济社，村委会介绍的人口为3900人、农户866户（该介绍未注明年份）。村委会距从化城区约18公里，距太平镇区约18公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

银林之名来自1958年公社化时设立的银林大队：辖下的银溪、林村是最大的两个村庄，各取首字合成此名。[1]

1983年12月改称银林村，1987年1月成立银林村民委员会，延续至今。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2021年9月，银林村（休闲农业）列入「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单。[1]
  • 2024年11月，银林村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]

经济[edit]

村民栽种荔枝、龙眼，水田里种水稻和花生，也有人外出务工；2021年9月，村以休闲农业列入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的历史建筑与传统风貌建筑推荐线索名单中，列有本村的郭氏宗祠、新围骆氏祠堂、新增名堂，共3处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[2]
