屈洞村是广州市从化区太平镇下辖的行政村，村委会设在镇域南部。[1] 全村面积约5.2平方千米，下设16个经济社，村委会介绍的人口为3468人、农户768户（该介绍未注明年份）。村委会距从化城区约23公里，距太平镇区约3公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网的说法是：「屈」有辗转的意思，村里的先祖为寻一处安身之地几经辗转，最后在龙腾定居，借这个意思，把村名叫作屈洞。[1]

据博雅地名网，1961年，建立屈洞大队，到1983年12月，改名屈洞乡，到1987年1月，改名屈洞村民委员会，此名沿用到现在。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2024年11月，屈洞村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]

经济[edit]

据村委会介绍，村里的生计是：栽种荔枝、龙眼；种水稻、花生，也有村民外出务工。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

防御使钟公祠的建筑年代为明清，在2002年7月列入第六批广州市文物保护单位名单。[1][2]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的历史建筑与传统风貌建筑推荐线索名单中，列有本村的庚镇门楼，共1处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[3]
