共星村在行政区划上属从化区太平镇，是该镇的一个行政村，村委会设在镇域北部。[1] 全村面积约10平方千米，下设19个经济社，村委会介绍的人口为2298人、农户517户（该介绍未注明年份）。村委会距从化城区约17公里，距太平镇区约8公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取「共同合办联社、像星星一样发光」之意。[1] 据村委会介绍，村民的先祖在明代中叶从增城迁来建村。[1]

1954年以前，这里叫镇安乡，因与吕田镇安乡重名，改称联安乡；1956年办高级社，取名共星高级社；1958年公社化时定名共星大队；1983年12月称共星乡，1987年1月起为共星村民委员会，延续至今。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2019年9月，共星村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2021年12月，共星村获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号（广东省爱卫会）。[1]
  • 2024年11月，共星村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]

经济[edit]

共星村以沙糖桔、荔枝为「一村一品」，并酿造共星米酒，水田里种水稻和花生。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的历史建筑与传统风貌建筑推荐线索名单中，列有本村的陆子岗江氏传统民居，共1处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[2]
