东城社区是石牌街道辖下的居民委员会，辖区约0.5平方千米，社区居委会简介列有3271户、8883人，其中流动人口2394人（简介未注明年份）。名称取自辖内的东城小区（东城花苑）。[1]

沿革与辖区[edit]

社区起初叫东城花苑管委会，设于1991年年初，四年后的1995年4月才改称东城居委会，一直用到现在。[1]

辖区东起科技东街一带，南到中山大道西与天河路之间，西邻龙口东路，北靠天河北路，内有16个小区，还有华南师范大学附属中学、市团校和第113中学3所学校。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，东城社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2022年11月入选「广州市2022年绿色社区」；2024年11月获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区」。[1]
