东海社区是石牌街道辖下的居民委员会，由原东园居委会和海欣居委会合并而成，各取前一字为名。辖区占地0.4120平方千米，有楼宇38栋，简介称有常住户2448户，总人口9867人，含暂住人口4330人（简介未注明年份）。[1]

居委会1998年6月先以东园居委会之名设立，2003年6月和海欣居委会合并后，才有现在的名称。[1]
辖区[edit]
社区北到天河路，南到黄埔大道，东到石牌西路东侧，西到石牌西路涌边。辖内驻有广州海关缉私局、数家银行、华兴幼儿园和长安医院，并有太平洋电脑城、南方电脑城、天河电脑城等多个电脑城。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，东海社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2022年11月入选「广州市2022年绿色社区」；2024年11月获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区」。[1]
