南大社区是石牌街道辖下的居民委员会，其辖区由原南方大学的生活区发展而来，1980年1月以现名设立，居委会在石牌东路127号。辖区面积约0.12平方千米，有1535户、3084人（简介未注明年份）。[1]
沿革[edit]
1950年，广州市以东郊石牌的原国民党总统府旧址（今华南师范大学校内）开办南方大学。为方便师生生活，校门对面开设了生活区，设有市场、邮局和粮油店。住在这里的居民组成居委会，起初叫南方大学居委会，直到1980年才改名。[1]
辖区与荣誉[edit]
辖区在石牌东路151至159号以北、暨南大学西围墙与北围墙之外，范围内有平房和楼房。简介还列出，60岁及以上的老人有241人，70岁及以上的有88人。2022年11月，南大社区入选「广州市2022年绿色社区」；2024年11月获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区」。[1]
