渡头村在康厝畲族乡境内，村边有一处渡口，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年归苏堤乡。1961年设渡头小公社，1966年7月划入康厝大公社，为渡头大队；1984年改设渡头村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，渡头村被福建省爱卫办命名为2021年福建省卫生村。2021年12月，又被命名为2021年度福建省「森林村庄」。[1]
