历史沿革[edit]
1949年9月起归三区地派乡，1957年10月划到三区湖心乡，12月又属地派乡的湖心村。1958年10月它是左潭公社湖心大队的一部分，1960年9月改叫湖心公社渡头大队；1984年3月改乡，1987年1月设村民委员会，1989年10月称管理区。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
上围牌坊是清代砖牌坊，坐西向东，通高6米，通面宽4.5米，青砖砌成，现为县级文物保护单位。原先它立在村道中央，后来旁边另辟道路，如今在路边。[2][3]
荣誉[edit]
广东省爱卫会在2021年12月授予渡头村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
