南溪村位于福建省宁德市寿宁县平溪镇北面，距镇区十公里，东邻上党、坑底，南与亭下、柯洋两村相毗，西与政和县登源乡接壤，北邻溪底村。海拔在712至859米之间。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村庄原名许屯，后有李氏迁居此地，其始祖号“南溪”，村庄因此得名南溪。[5]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年前村属平溪乡；1951年划为第三区（平溪区）。1959年村并入芹洋区，同年隶平溪公社，编为南溪大队；1965年区制取消，仍为南溪大队。1984年撤社建乡，改设南溪村委会；2013年底乡改为镇，村委会不变。[4]

2021年，村庄搬迁。[4]

经济[edit]

村内盛产水稻、茶叶、毛竹、木材、锥栗，寿政二级公路穿村而过。集体经济在2021年的收入为15.11万元。[3]

文化[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村庄先后获得多项荣誉：2012年10月，获福建省环境保护厅授予「福建省生态村」称号；2016年6月，中共寿宁县委授予「全县先进基层党组织」称号；2019年9月，获评「中国传统古村落」，授予单位为住房和城乡建设部；2021年9月，获寿宁县委、县政府授予第十五届「文明村」。[3]
