岭下村是岭下乡人民政府的驻地，海拔约880米，下辖岭下、锦厦新村两个自然村。村名来自旧称锦厦：村子建在四条岭之下，故改称岭下。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年前此地属双溪区岭下乡；1958年称双溪公社岭下大队，1961年归岭下公社，1984年起为岭下乡岭下村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村北的广福桥又名溪源桥，始建于元统元年（1333年），清嘉庆十二年（1806年）重修，桥长32.5米。村南的广利桥宋代已有，明代正统年间重建，乾隆三十九年（1775年）修葺，1993年又经重修，桥长30.5米。两桥均为福建省级文物保护单位。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2015年10月，岭下村被认定为「福建省第一批省级传统村落」；2016年12月，又列入「第四批中国传统村落」名录。[1]
